July 29 Update: As we expected, the Court approved our motion for an enlargement of time. The Court considered our motion and David Weekley’s objection and found that our motion was made for good cause. We now have until August 17 to file the remaining documents missing from the record. Our attorneys are actively working with the Town of Brownsburg’s counsel to accomplish this. The Hawk’s Landing legal case will soon begin moving at a much faster pace, and with it, this important issue will once again return to the spotlight. On July 27, our attorneys will submit the complete and official record from the Brownsburg Advisory Plan Commission (APC) to the court. Shortly afterward, David Weekley Homes and Connection Pointe Church will be required to file their responses. Similar to Connection Pointe, David Weekley requested an extension to respond to our petition until after the official APC record is filed. The Court granted that request, and they now have until August 3, 2026, to respond. The Town of Brownsburg remains the Deciding Authority in this case and filed its response earlier this week.
