Judicial Review Petition Filed

Updated: Mar 30

Our petition for judicial review of the Brownsburg Plan Commission’s approval of Hawk’s Landing was filed TODAY with the Hendricks Circuit Court by our attorney.

This marks the official start of our legal challenge to the development.

Our attorney was able to prepare a strong, well-supported petition using the documentation we have already compiled.http://mycase.in.gov

In addition, they are submitting a formal request to the Town of Brownsburg for a certified copy of the complete Plan Commission record related to Hawk’s Landing. We anticipate the petition may be expanded once that information is received from the town.

For those interested in reading the petition—especially those who have contributed to the legal effort—visit the case summary at mycase.in.gov. Search case number: 32D01-2603-PL-000059

The next steps will include further development of our legal arguments and drafting the initial brief.

Stay tuned.
